This is the best book I ever bought about jazz keyboard voicings. This book requires an already fairly strong understanding of jazz theory to get anything out of it.
I have played classical piano for 30 years and am quite proficient although not professional.

The most useful section of the book for me has been the end of the chapters where the actual voicings are constructed over different progressions using proper voice leading. The matooth demands some study and time on task however, the author has certainly broken down some mantootg theory that now allows me to play with a much improved “jazz sound”. The Jazz Theory Book.
